What it costs, before you call

Every range below is real work on customer-owned units. The spread exists because a 1994 fifth-wheel and a 2021 van are not the same job. The assessment closes the gap, and it is free.

Basic lithium conversion

$4,000 – $7,000

The entry point. Replace the lead-acid bank and the converter that was quietly killing it.

What is included

  • LiFePO₄ battery bank with integrated BMS, sized to your actual draw
  • DC-DC charger so the alternator charges the bank correctly
  • Shore-power charger matched to the chemistry
  • Battery monitor with a shunt — real state of charge, not a four-LED guess
  • Existing distribution re-fused to the new bank
  • Every circuit touched is labelled at both ends

Good fit if the rest of the coach wiring is sound and you mainly want capacity, charge speed and an honest fuel gauge.

Full power system

$10,000 – $18,000

A complete house system — generation, storage, inversion and monitoring designed together.

What is included

  • Victron MultiPlus-II inverter/charger sized to the loads you actually run
  • LiFePO₄ bank with appropriate Class T protection and a proper busbar
  • Rooftop solar array with MPPT controllers
  • Cerbo GX with VRM remote monitoring — see the system from your phone
  • New DC distribution panel, correctly fused, fully labelled
  • AC transfer and shore inlet brought up to standard
  • Printed panel legend and an as-built wiring schedule handed over on completion

Good fit if you run air conditioning, tools or a work setup off the coach and the current system cannot carry it.

Four-season tank & belly system

$3,500 – $6,000

The tank and underbelly stack, built in the order that actually works.

What is included

  • Thermostatically controlled heating pads bonded directly to the tank shells
  • Heat tape on exposed lines and valves, run under the insulation rather than over it
  • Rigid foam insulation across the underbelly
  • Riveted aluminium belly armour with weep points at the low corners
  • Galvanic isolation at every aluminium-to-steel contact
  • Dedicated, switched and monitored circuits for the heating loads

Good fit if you are parked somewhere with real seasons and the factory underbelly is a sheet of coroplast and optimism.

Connectivity

$1,500 – $3,000

Satellite and cellular, mounted to survive the highway and wired not to fight the rest of the coach.

What is included

  • Satellite terminal mounting and cable routing with a proper roof penetration and seal
  • Cellular modem and external antenna where the site needs it
  • Router and local network, configured and handed over with the credentials
  • Powered from the DC system on its own protected circuit
  • Stowage or a mount that does not need two people and a ladder

Good fit if you work from the unit and a dropped connection costs you a day.

Complete electrical rebuild

$20,000 – $30,000

Strip it back and do it once. For units worth keeping and wiring that is not.

What is included

  • Full removal of existing AC and DC wiring where it is unsafe or unserviceable
  • New distribution, new protection, new grounding and bonding throughout
  • Full Victron power system with solar, storage and monitoring
  • Four-season tank and belly system where the unit calls for it
  • Connectivity and site power provisions
  • Complete as-built documentation: panel legend, circuit schedule, component list by part number

Good fit for an older unit with a sound shell and a decade of improvised repairs behind the panels.

Diagnostics

$125 / hour

Something is draining, tripping, browning out or cooking batteries and nobody can tell you why. We find it, document it, and give you the options in writing. If you book the repair with us, the diagnostic time is credited against the job.

What we do not do

This list saves us both a phone call, and it is here because a shop that claims everything is a shop that has not done much of it.

Not our workWhy
Salvaged EV modules or loose cellsLiFePO₄ with an integrated BMS only. This is an insurance and liability position, not a preference.
Propane appliance service and gas line certificationLicensed gas work. We will coordinate with someone who holds it.
Chassis, brake, axle and suspension workNot our trade. We will tell you what we see, and stop there.
Roof replacement, structural and collision repairBody shop work. We will not seal over a problem to get to the wiring.
Warranty work on someone else’s installWe can assess it and quote a correction, but we cannot certify another shop’s work.
New recreational vehicle salesWe work on units you already own.
